Yogurt Salad With Roasted Pepper



Mixed vegetable tossed in beaten yogurt.

Ingredients
  • Skimmed milk yogurt 3 cups
  • Salt                                  to taste
  • Green chilli paste              1/8 teaspoon
  • Sugar                               a pinch
  • Green capsicum               1
  • Cabbage,shredded           1/4 medium
  • Carrot,shredded               1 small
  • French beans                    3-4
  • Green peas,boiled             1 tbsp
  • Cucumber,finely chopped 1 small
  • Onion ,finely chopped 1 small
  • Tomato,finely chopped 1 small

Method

Beat yogurt till smooth adding the salt, green chilli paste and sugar. Skewer capsicum and hold briefly on gas flame. Turn frequently so that it is roasted all around. Let cool and remove skin. Chop capsicum. Add all the prepared vegetables to the spiced yogurt and mix lightly. Serve chilled.
