Moist and Fuggy egg less dark Chocolate cake.
Ingredients
For making cake
- Milk Maid 400 gm
- Maida Flour 275 gm
- Butter 120 gm
- Coca Powder 4 tsp
- Chocolate powder 1 tsp
- Sugar (powder) 2 tsp
- Vanilla essence 6-7 drops
- Chocolate essence 6-7 drops
- Baking powder 2 tsp
- Soda 1/4 tsp
- Milk 100 ml
For Glace- icing
- Icing sugar/ sugar 175 gm
- water 1 tsp
- Coca powder 2 tsp
- Chocolate powder 1 tsp
- Butter 2 tsp
Method
For cake - Sieve maida, coca powder, chocolate powder, baking powder and soda 3-4 times. Mix milk maid, melted butter in a bowl. Add maida mixture, milk and essence in it and mix them all well so that no lumbs are formed. Pour the batter in the greased cake tin and bake for thirty minutes in a preheat oven at 180 degree. Remove and cool.
For icing - Mix sugar and water. heat up at low flame for 3-4 min. After that add sieved coca powder, chocolate powder and butter (melted) in it. Immediately spread this icing on cake. (garnish it with roughly chopped nuts if you want, immediately). cut into slices and serve it.

ReplyDeletePreheat the cooker on high flame for 2 minutes, put the cake mould, cover with the lid, without the whistle and let it cook on high flame for 5 minutes than reduce the flame and cook for 40 minutes.
ReplyDeleteThe cooker should not have water in it.
After 30 min open the lid and check if the cake is cooked by inserting a knife in it. If the knife comes out clear, than the cake is cooked, if it comes out sticky, let it cook for some time.
which butter shld be used...either homemade or packaged ones??
