Suji ka Halwa


This is a simple and healthy home made recipe,do try it. I hope you all like it alot.



Ingredients

  • Pure Desi ghee                                          3 tsp
  • Suji / Rawa                                                 1cup
  • sugar                                                          1 cup
  • water                                                           4 cup
  • Almonds, cashew (roughly chopped)         1/4 cup (or acc. to ur taste)
  • Cardamom (Elaichi)                                    2
  • Raisins                                                       15-20

Method
Mix water, cardamom (chopped by hands) and sugar in a bowl. Heat it at a low flame unless sugar properly mixed in water. keep it aside.
Now heat Desi ghee in a non stick pan, add suji and saute till golden brown.
Add raisins, then sugar-water solution in it. Mix and cook well till the halwa thickens.
transfer it into a serving bowl and garnish it with chopped nuts. Serve it hot.
