Blueberry smoothie


Healthy Blueberry smoothie mixed with traditionally oats groats having a gingery aroma. Everyone will surely loves the flavor. So go, give a try to this delicious and healthy home made berry smoothie.

Ingredients:
  • Rolled oats                  1/4 cup
  • Fresh blueberries        1/2 cup
  • Plain low-fat yogurt    1/2 cup
  • Ice                               1/2 cup
  • Brown sugar                2 tbsp
  • Grated fresh ginger     1/4 tsp

Method:

Firstly, soak the oats in 1/2 cup of water until the oats have softened,  about 15 minutes. Now strain and add the Oats, blueberries, yogurt, ice, sugar, and ginger in a blender. Blend until it becomes smooth and frothy. Serve it immediately. You can refrigerate it for later use.

Note: 
  • Frozen berries can be used
  • You can use honey or normal sugar in place of brown sugar
  • Can increase the amount of grated ginger from 1/4 to 1/2 tsp.
