Ginger Tea

Ginger is reputed to help ward off colds or improve your recovery time. Tea is the most gentle form of consuming ginger.

Ingredients:

Water                       2 Cup
Ginger crushed        1/2 inch pieces
Tea                     4 tsp
Sugar                        3-4 tbsp
Aniseeds (saunf)  1/2 tsp
Cardamom powder  1/2 tsp
Milk                         2 cups

Method:

Boil two cups of water along with tea, ginger, sugar and saunf in a deep pan. Reduce heat and simmer for five minutes. Add the milk and bring the mixture to a boil again. Let the tea infuse for two to three minutes.
Strain the tea and serve hot.

Note: 
  • You can add or remove amount of sugar acc. to your taste.
  • Tea bags can also b use in place of Tea leaves.
