Bread Pakora

Home made quick and easy tea time snack - cheesy bread pakora..!!

Ingredients:

  • Processed cheese grated                  150 gms
  • White bread slices                           8 
  • Gram flour (besan)                          1 1/2 cups
  • Salt                                                   to taste
  • Onion chopped                                1 medium
  • Fresh coriander leaves chopped      1 tbsp
  • Green chillies chopped                    2 
  • Chaat masala                                   1 tsp
  • Oil                                                    For deep fry
  • Soda bicarbonate (optional)             a pinch
Method:


Put chickpea flour and salt in a bowl, add enough water and whisk to make a smooth , thick paste of coating consistency .
Put cheese, onion , coriander leaves , green chilies and a teaspoon chaat masala in another bowl and mix well. 
Heat enough oil in Kadai . Add baking soda to the batter and beat well . Dip each triangle / square bread in it until well coated pakoras and fry in hot oil until golden and crisp . Drain on absorbent paper.
Cut each triangle / square into smaller triangles / square , sprinkle chaat masala and serve them hot, with tomato sauce or tamarind chutney.

Note:  
  • Whisk chickpea flour Batter very Well, its avoids adding soda in the mixture.
  • You can add paste of garlic acc. to taste, in mixture.
