Lachha Parantha



A multi layered indian bread. Easy to prepare at home

Ingredients
  • Maida                    2 cup
  • Atta                       1 cup
  • Green chillies          3-4 (chopped)
  • Coriander leaves     to taste (chopped)
  • Salt                         1 tsp or  to taste
  • Black Pepper          1/2 tsp
  • Coriander powder   1/4 tsp
  • Refined / oil             1 tsp
 

Method to Prepare Lachha Paratha

Sieve Both flours properly. Mix all the ingredient and make a normal soft dough. Keep it aside for 20 minutes after covering the dough with a wet cotton cloth.
Take a small ball from dough and roll into a circle of 6" diameter by using dry flour. Now spread the ghee properly over entire surface.Using a knife make a 2" cut lengthways and fold it inwards . Spread Oil on every fold. Now press it lightly towards the center to show the layers clearly and roll like a parantha. Cook the parantha on a pre-heated tawa at a low flame till it done i.e. till it will be light brown in color. Serve it hot with any vegetable, curry or daal.
