Aloo Parantha


Potato is everyone's favourite. This aloo parntaha recipe is yummiest, delicious and very tasty. Even if you want eat without butter or curd, you can eat it. Do try it.

Ingredients

Potato                      3 large
Onion,Chopped        1 large
Salt                           to taste
Ajwain                      1/2 tsp
Green chillie               2
Red chillie powder     1/4 tsp
anardana powder       1/4 tsp
chaat masala              1/4 tsp
Coariender leaves       accordingly
Ghee                          For frying



 
Method to Prepare Aloo Parantha-Paratha-Parauntha
Knead a soft medium dough i.e normal dough


Boil the potatoes until they are just done, and then peel and mash them.
Sprinkle ½ tsp ajwain and ¼ tsp (anardana powder, chat masala powder, red chillie powder. Add salt, and chopped (onion, green chillies, coariender leaves). Mash the mixture again until no lumps remain. 

Alternatively, you may grate and then mash the potatoes.

Take a small piece of dough and roll it out into a small circle. Place some mashed potato mixture in the center and covered with dough. The mass must be carefully wrapped in a manner similar to a fan, and finally pressed together in the center. Place the dough smooth side, and spread in a circle ½ inch thick. Cook over medium hot pan (tawa) and smear both sides while cooking. Spread ghee in the early stages if you want a soft paratha, or towards the end if you want crisp. Serve it hot with butter or curd.
