Tamarind (Imli) ki chutney

Tamarind (Imli) ki Khatti - Mitthi Chutney. It's too sweet and sour.

Ingredients

  • Tamarind (Imli)                        100 gm
  • water                                       1 cup
  • Jaggery (gur)                            250 gm
  • Salt                                          1/2 tsp
  • Red Chilli powder                    1/2 tsp
  • Garam Masala                          1/4 tsp
  • Rosted Cumin (jeera) powder   1/2 tsp

Method

Soak Tamarind in 1 cup water. Remove pulp and seeds from it. Add 1 1/2 cup water in the tamarind.
Mix well all things in tamarind and cook it for 15- 20 min at low flame, until it gets semi thick (not too thick). as it thickens more on cooling.
