Potato Cut Wheels



Just like potato cutlets try this new recipe.



Ingredients

For dough

  • Maida Flour                                                   2 cups
  • Salt                                                                 1 tsp
  • Refined                                                          3 tsp
For Filling
  • Potato                                                            6
  • Boiled Peas                                                  1/2 cup
  • Salt                                                                 1 tsp
  • Black Pepper                                                1 tsp
  • Fennel seeds(saunf) & dhania powder      1 tsp
  • Garam masala                                              1/2 tsp
  • Amchur powder                                             1 tsp
  • Cumin seeds (jeera)                                     1 tsp
  • green chillies                                                  4
  • green coriender &Pudina leaves                 acc. 2 taste
Method
Sieve(chaane) maida flour and 1 tsp salt. mix together with 3 tsp refiend and water to make a tight dough. keep it aside for 10 min.
now for filling, boil potatoes and roughly mash them. on the other side in a pan heat take 1 tsp refined, add cumin seeds. when they start changing color add mashed potatoes in it including all above written masalas', saute them at low flame for 5 min. after that keep the mixture aside to let it cool.
For making wheels, take a ball from dough. Make a 6 inch chapati of it, fill the potato filling in it and make a roll of it, ensurig ends should be closed properly.
now deep fry these rolls in oil untill they become golden brown, firstly at high flame and then at low flame. Cut rolls into slanting pieces with knife and serve it hot with Coriander Chutney Or Tamarind (imli) chutney.
